2020 Creativity: Revelation 8

The Text of the chapter eight is in process, and will be posted soon. Please check back!

Today is the eighth day, which is designated as the Day of Resurrection. Despite all of the fury, wrath, and anger that we see in the Text and our world today, we can all choose to rise up today and contribute to the new Heavens and new Earth. Never let the current context of our day interfere with "The Day of the LORD" as it is dubbed in the Scriptures. If our individual mind(s) can be attuned to this Reality, we then impact the collective consciousness of all people, and then invoke the Mind of Christ to enlighten us. In many ways, this is what the word "salvation" means in the Bible. There is a collective notion that animates the word, as it is not a commodity for individuals to 'buy and sell' based on their particular brand of theology. No one has a monopoly on God, Life, and the Universe. We rise and fall as a species together, and there is no true separate self that can be 'saved' on its own. From the perspective of the Messiah, there is no Christian or Muslim, gay or straight, American or Iranian, black or white; for we are all one.

In a time when many trust in their weapons to save them, we must let down our defenses in order to conquer. Amit Ray said, "If you carry a weapon, war will follow you. If you carry a smile, love will knock at your door." We must continually ask ourselves and our neighbors, "what kind of world do we want to create?" The ancient prophet Isaiah envisioned a world where we "melt our guns for metal to make jungle gyms for children, and use the energy of nuclear weapons for the healing of the nations." Some want to wait for another person to rise up and lead the way, but this thought process assumes that there are leaders and followers in this world. In Ultimate Reality, we are all both leaders and followers; are we leading and following in the Way of Peace, or the ways of war? War is a mindset before it is ever declared openly, so no one can abdicate their responsibility in this regard. The only one who can usurp our own throne(s) of dominion is ourselves; meaning, we choose to lead others in the ways that we have elected to follow. Whether we want to see it this way or not, we are the arbiters of truth for ourselves, and cannot escape this subjectivity.

With the good, the bad, and the ugly in sight, I come to this conclusion: just as the Scriptures teach that Jesus is the Icon of the "Invisible, Good, and Orderly Direction of God," so also, one could claim that President Trump is the icon of the United States of America. What this means is that the 45th President embodies in himself all that this nation has always been concerned with since its inception: money, power, and respect. To some, this is a cause of great rejoicing, and to others, it heaps great shame upon their heads. Indeed, we are witnessing the division of this country because our President is a lightning rod that pushes people further into their preconceived biases, for better or worse. Please grapple with what I am writing, and do not flippantly interpret it in a partisan sense as being for or against Trump. To Americans, I say, remain conservative or liberal as you desire, just do it in the healthiest way possible. For my readers outside of the USA, I ask that you not listen to the propaganda that you hear in your media outlets. Plenty of bogus ideas about other nations abound in my country, but I refuse to let anyone's narrow agenda manipulate me. Let us all stand together as citizens of the cosmos, living on this one earth, which is ruled by the Forces of Love, in my humble opinion. Let us believe and hope the best about our brothers and sisters around the globe, and not be duped by those who wish to control us with their lies. May THAT revolution begin with ME today! So be it, my friends.
